Treatment with nematodes against white grubs

Heterorhabditis bacteriophora - 5 million

Nematodes are microscopic worms invisible to the naked eye.

The treatment of white grubs, vine weevil and beetles with the nematodes Heterorhabditis bacteriophora is simple and effective. Simply spread the nematodes on the ground and water them so that they penetrate the soil. The nematodes then move in search of the larvae and attack them. This treatment is safe for plants, pets and humans, as the nematodes are not harmful to them.

For optimal effectiveness, it is recommended to apply the nematodes in spring or autumn, when the larvae are most active in the soil. Temperature and humidity conditions are also important for the success of this treatment. It is therefore important to follow the instructions to ensure proper use.

  • 6 weeks of peace.
  • Easy application by watering or spraying.

It is a LIVE PRODUCT with a FAIRLY SHORT use-by date.

How are your anti-white grub nematodes delivered to you?

By unrefrigerated follow-up letter directly to the mailbox.

Nematodes can survive more than 8 days at room temperature without concern. Storage in the fridge is just to be able to keep them longer by slowing down their development.

The nematodes are to be kept cool after reception in order to slow down their metabolism ("hibernation") in order to be able to keep them until the expiry date.
At room temperature, the nematodes do not die but continue their development. Without food (mushroom fly larvae), they would eventually die naturally after about ten days.

Date of treatment with anti-white grub nematodes

Treatment with nematodes can be done all year round preventively or curatively as soon as the pests appear when the temperature reaches 10 to 12°C.

mode of action

Nematodes are naturally present in the soil in small quantities, they are microscopic worms invisible to the naked eye, respectful of useful insects, crops and vertebrates (human beings and domestic animals).
